MAN OF LETTERS

The play focuses on a charismatic, larger-than-life, World War II historian, James Finnegan O’Toole, who is accused of plagiarism; his loyal wife Helen; and their two sons -- Sean, coasting through life, who has an on-again off-again relationship with their father; and his younger brother Patrick, who has just completed their father’s “authorized” biography.  During the course of the play, family secrets are laid bare and the truth of James’s plagiarism charge comes shockingly to light.
