MAC(BETH), PODCASTER is a zany, modern-day reimagining of Shakespeare’s MACBETH, set in the cutthroat world of podcasting and utilizing all the major plot points of the original. When the mysterious witches of the Heath Corporation prophesy that Mac(beth) will rise to become the number one podcaster in the land, ambition consumes him.  Spurred on by his unhinged wife, Lady M(acbeth), he betrays his best friend and co-host, Banksy [Banquo], and topples his idol, the reigning King of Podcasts, Duncan (Hines).  The results are as riotous as they are unpredictable -- a darkly comic exploration of power, politics, fame, and the modern media machine.
